Colgate Ortho Defense Phos-Flur Mouthwash is an alcohol free mouthwash* for braces. This fluoride mouthwash is designed to help prevent cavities and is formulated with a special sodium fluoride acidulated phosphate solution which offers ideal protection while wearing braces or other orthodontic devices. In addition to helping prevent cavities, this anticavity oral rinse also helps strengthen enamel. The alcohol free mouthwash* is safe for daily use and made for adults and children who are 6 years of age and older. To use the fluoride rinse, pour 10 milliliters of solution (10 mL mark on cap or 2 teaspoonfuls) into the cap and vigorously swish between your teeth for one minute. Use once a day after brushing your teeth with toothpaste. Make sure to not swallow the rinse or eat or drink 30 minutes after rinsing. The mouthwash comes in a refreshing mint flavor, so your breath is refreshed between uses. Additionally, Colgate Ortho Defense Phos-Flur Mouthwash is ADA accepted**.
